Frage von marikology101: What’s a healthy substitute for nuts as a snack in a diet plan?
I am following a diet plan for a week and all of the mid-day snacks are a handful of nuts and a piece of fruit. Unfortunately, I do not like nuts. Assuming the nuts are for fiber, protein and healthy fat, what are some suggestions for a good snack that I can eat instead? Something quick and small, 100-200 calories, would be good.
I was thinking veggies dipped in homemade hummus (chickpeas + olive oil) would be about the same. other than that, I’m stumped.

hummus is a great idea! I make it all the time.
Have you tried toasted pepitas? (pumpkin seeds) or sunflower seeds? They are very nutritious with protein too!
Chia seeds are great option too.
Or peanut butter with celery
Or Avocado and wholegrain cracker

Avocado, oatmeal, or beans all have fiber, protein, and healthy fat.
