are they more fussy…My 2 mo old has never spit up; yet dr believes she has silent reflux. I just hate that she has to take meds daily but im willing to do so, if it will make her feel better. My baby cries all day even if I carry her. I have taken her to 4 diff drs 3 said she was just irritable. But she screams…please help

the most common symptom is spitting up a lot.my daughter was on 2 types of medications for 4 months.its very unpleasant for them.its like heartburn.

My son spits up on his good days. And pukes up rotten looking and smelling formula on his really bad days. It’s painful, he doesn’t just fuss he screams cries kicks and thrashes. He makes awful faces because of the pain that it causes to have the acid come up in his mouth. He gags and stops breathing sometimes.
Oh and I forgot to put something on your other question about things you can do to help her. Peppermint water, it soothes the throat and the belly, it’s a quick fix that sometimes will work and other times won’t it depends on how bad it is.
My son had silent reflux. He would scream and scream for about an hour and a half after each feeding. He would also arch his back, violently throwing himself backwards. He wasn’t put on medication though so we switched his formula from similac advanced to similac sensitive. He hasn’t had any problems since.
